Testimonials
If you want to tap in to your own potential and finally set your goals and achieve them Coach Lesley can help you get there. I have been a client of Lesley’s since May of 2009 and I am amazed at what I have been able to accomplish. I set a PR on a 5k and learned that I was worth achieving my goals. What Coach Lesley has taught me not only helps me perform my best in all things I take on in my life.
I am looking forward to 2010 and overcoming my fear of cycling downhill and finishing my first Ironman in Canada. With Coach Lesley’s help and my own determination and belief in myself I know I will finish. The best part of working with Lesley is that we have FUN and everyone that works for Coach Lesley and is a client of Coach Lesley is supportive of one another, no matter what their abilities are.

I was training for my very first triathlon. I was a beginner runner, although it would be my strongest event. And I was a leisurely biker and swimmer at best. Coach Lesley devised a training program so that I could do all three events relatively easily, and she was patient and thorough in explaining transitions and what I should expect on race day.
I encountered a setback two months before the event - catching a really bad cold that lingered for several weeks. However, since I had trained so well up to that point, Coach Lesley assured me that I would be ready for the event, so I continued on with my training. I was very pleased with my triathlon results and couldn't have done it successfully without her help!

Want to run faster? Get more fit? Lose weight? You need to work at it! You need to have a plan! You need motivation! You need Coach Lesley in your corner!!!
She has the degrees and certifications. She uses that knowledge to plan your workouts. She’s current on everything. She has the experience - Ironmans, marathons, cycling cross-country. She has the personality to motivate you to go harder, and the brains to say when to back off.
I'm a client who is faster and more fit at age 53 than I was at 43, 33, or 23.

I've been a client for over a year now and really consider this a great investment - as well as a lot of fun. Prior to signing up with Coach Lesley, I ran a few marathons and struggled with injuries and not really knowing at what level I could perform. I knew I wanted to do more marathons as well as triathlons, but was at a loss of how to go about training.
The first thing Coach Lesley did was to really get to know my goals and other life priorities. I work a lot, so this was extremely helpful - both from giving me a schedule that could be flexible and also providing confidence that a custom tailored program would allow me to achieve my goals.
Coach Lesley got me through my events injury free in 2008 and we've really worked building from there to improve my performance. While I'll never be an elite athlete, I have improved a lot and took the plunge of attempting an Ironman. Having the personalized training plan and Coach Lesley's unwavering enthusiasm behind me really allowed me to focus on workouts and other aspects of life without worrying if I’m even doing the right training.
I would recommend Coach Lesley to anyone seeking to really challenge themselves in running and triathlons -- it’s money well spent.

I've been a client of Coach Lesley's for seven months now. I sought her help after having a couple marathons under my belt - I was looking to become faster. Since I started training with her I have shaved 10 minutes off my half-marathon time and have continued that trend with longer distances
Coach Lesley knows what she is talking about. She has an education and experience in Exercise Science and a very impressive athletic background. Most recently she qualified and competed at the Ironman World Championships in Kona. Her experience and warm personality make her an excellent coach and I have faith as long as I do what she says, I will accomplish my athletic goals.

In the few months since I started my work with Coach Lesley she has listened to what I already know about myself and my body and worked really consciously to build a program that I could do despite nagging injuries.
I have just accomplished one of my major goals, to have a pain free run around Greenlake. She is helping me realize that slow and steady wins the race and that one workout per week is much better than none. She reminds me not to be too hard on myself and praises me in such a way that pretty soon I will have to learn to believe that what she is saying is true!

Coach Lesley has been my coach for a number of years now. She is terrific. If you are looking for a coach who will understand your needs, your personality and your potential, she is the best!
I have successfully completed many marathons and, at this point, two Ironman. Lesley has been there for me throughout! I'm ten years older than she is and yet she gets the aging thing. I'm still going strong and injury free thanks to her.

New to running and fitness, I tried for a couple of years to train on my own. Disappointed in my results and realizing my lack of understanding of how to train properly, I was finally persuaded to seek the expertise of a coach. I was thrilled to find Coach Lesley.
From the start she emphasized the importance of establishing a solid baseline of fitness for injury prevention. With progressively challenging programs, Coach Lesley coaches me toward achieving my specific running goals as well as my larger goal of integrating fitness into my life. I continually surprise myself with what I am capable of and have increasing confidence to pursue a wider range of activities. I am back on a road bike after 18 years of trepidation and most recently - I beat my goal time in the 2005 Seattle Half-Marathon (with energy to spare)!
Coach Lesley's obvious knowledge of the science of fitness, her impressive athleticism and genuine enthusiasm to help people define and reach their personal fitness goals is an unbeatable combination for a coach.

I have benefited from Coach Lesley's wealth of knowledge and experience about health and fitness. Though her athletic accomplishments are awe-inspiring, she maintains a very down-to-earth style and is always approachable. While working with her, I have gained a better understanding of the daily steps necessary to meet immediate and long-term and goals. Whether I've wanted to run half-marathon or just try balance exercise with everything else in life, Lesley has been a wonderful teacher and her support has been unflagging.
